Tourists looking for traditional handicrafts as souvenirs or gift items should make their way to the National Croft Centre. Located at Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur, it offers an assortment of handcrafted pottery, woodcarving, forestry products, textiles, and embroidery and metal ware at unbeatable prices. Styled after a Malay Sultans palace, this complex is a comprehensive cultural centre offering the entire spectrum of traditional Malaysian arts, crafts and cultural activities. housed within the premises are also an exhibition gallery, Craft Museum, stage for live performances and a restaurant serving classical Malay cuisine.


At the Craft Village, visitors will learn about Malaysian handicrafts through various craft demonstrations such as interactive hand-drawn batik, woodcarving and pewter or ceramic making sessions.

Getting There:

Take the Putra LRT to the KLCC Station or the KL Monorail to the Raja Chulan Station. From here, taxis are the most convenient mode of transport to the complex.

This gallery displays paintings, sculptures and other works of leading Malaysian and international artists. It also features experimental works and touring exhibitions. The unique spiral passageway provides an opportunity to view art works from various levels and angles.

Level 3, Suria KLCC (Ampang Mall Wing - KLCC)


This gallery is designed with an emphasis on natural geometry and abstract concepts. Its display space of 1135.92 square metres features both traditional and modern artistic expressions. Activities here include art demonstrations, forums and classes. A range of interesting art materials are available in its souvenir shop.

Take the Putra LRT to the KLCC Station and follow the signages to get to Suria KLCC.



PAM Centre, Jalan Tangsi


Housed in the heritage building of the Architects Association of Malaysia (PAM), the gallery exhibits contemporary works by well-known names in the Malaysian arts scene, as well as budding artists.

Take the STAR or Putra LRT to the Masjid Jamek Station. PAM Centre is about a 15-minute walk away and is situated opposite Bank Negara. Alternatively, take the KTM Komuter train to the Bank Negara Station.
