THE HERITAGE BAY CLUB MARINA & RESORT

The Heritage Bay Club Marina and Resort was established in 2005 and is the world?s first purpose-built sailing facility. It was constructed in conjunction with the inaugural Monsoon Cup held in Pulau Duyong. the tour?s first Asian venue which forms a part of the World Match Racing Tour international sailing circuit.

 

The event has gained prominence over the years and has drawn top ranked sailors as well as sailing enthusiasts from around the world. The marina and resort is situated on the East Coast in the state capital, Kuala Terengganu, and is approximately 18km from the Sultan Mahmud Airport. Set in a secluded surrounding facing the South China Sea, it exudes a tranquil ambience and offers 58 well-appointed chalets comprising of duplexes, executive suites and deluxe rooms. Each room features international standard amenities ranging from wireless internet access, home theatre systems to fully-furnished kitchens, catering to all preferences. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the Terengganu I-louse poolside lounge or savour your meal and watch as panoramic views unfold on the horizon - local fishing boats, barges and passenger ferries passing by or fishermen bringing in the day?s catch at the Ulek Mayang Restaurant. The restaurant serves Malaysian and western seafood delicacies made from fresh ingredients. Located right above it, is the Grand Ballroom, a sumptuous, pillarless ballroom overlooking the marina.

 

It is fitted with state- of-the-art meeting as well as audio visual facilities and has the maximum capacity of 600 persons. Located adjacent to the marina is the marina club house which is equipped with multi-level balconies with panoramic seafront views, VIP lounges, a trade exhibition centre as well as a gourmet restaurant. The Heritage Bay Club Marina has an average depth of 5m and has 60 berths with another 100 tinder construction.

 

It can accommodate yachts ranging from 6 - 80m and round-the-clock security with regular patrols is provided together with access to electricity, water as well as fuel. It has eight of the famous Monsoon Cup yachts, which are very comfortable and can be chartered for cruises. Also offered are corporate packages where the yachts can be used for team building programmes or fun team races. No yachting experience is necessary as every yacht will have an experienced coach onboard.
