SUNGAI KLAH HOT SPRINGS - SUNGKAI
 

The Sungai Klah Hot Springs in Perak is a tranquil recreational area where visitors can rejuvenate their mind and body.

 

Sungai KIah is located 10km away from the town of Sungkai and a leisurely drive from Kuala Lumpur to Sungkai is approximately 1 1/2 hours. There is the water reflexology area where a stream of hot spring water runs over some smooth stones, providing a nice massage to the soles of your feet. A boardwalk is also built which leads visitors to the source of the hot water that bubbles out from the ground.

 

Watch the sizzling steam rise up from the ground - an even more magical sight at night when the spotlights are turned on. At the Egg Boiling Pool, visitors can bring their own eggs or buy them at the park and immerse them in the pool, ready for lunch! A cafeteria and souvenir shop are also available at the park. KUALA WOH RECREATIONAL FOREST - TAPAH
 

 

The Kuala Woh Recreational Park is located about 13km from Tapah and can be found along the way to Cameron Highlands. Visitors can picnic here by its natural hot springs, majestic waterfalls or Visit the orang asli settlement nearby. LATA ISKANDAR WATERFALL - TAPAH
 

Further up the road from Kuala Woh Recreational Forest and located mid way some 15km from Tapah town is the Lata Iskandar Waterfalls, a popular stopover for tourists heading for Cameron Highland. TAMBUN HOT SPRINGS - IPOH
 

Just 15 minutes drive away from Ipoh on the road to Tanjung Rambutan lies Tambun village at the foot of a limestone hill. Tambun village is noted for its natural hot water spring which offers an invigorating hot mountain water bath. There are several natural hot water pools and the area is equipped with saunas and rest rooms. Here vistors can also view the Tambun Caves which were discovered in 1959. There are 2,000- year old Neolithic paintings on the cave walls Tambun is also famous for its pomeloes, a round, slightly ovalish citrus fruit. Other hot springs in Perak are at Sungkai, Pengkalan Hulu, Kampung Ulu Slim in Slim River, Kampung Air Panas in Grik and Manong in Kuala Kangsar.

 
 
 
LATA KINJANG - TAPAH
 

 

The Majestic Lata Kinjang waterfalls is visible from the north-south Expressway, after passing the Tapah exit. This majestic multi-tiered waterfall cascades 850 metres down the side of a mountain and proves a spectacular sight. The district is also home to several areas inhabited by the Orang Ash, the aborigines of the Peninsular. Villages exist near Lata Iskandar and Kuala Woh.
