The original idea and concept by The Chief Minister of Terengganu, Malaysia, was put on the drawing board early 2007 and the results can be seen after 7 months with the launching of the first such bus of 20 in the planning! Operated by Government-owned transport company - RapidKT - the bus will take you to splendid tourism sites in the state capital of Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, namely The State Museum, The Noor Arfa Craft Complex (NACC), Islamic Civilisation Park or Crystal Mosque (TTI), the infamous Keropok Lekor Losong, Central Market, The Floating Mosque - the list is endless. Just HOP ON the bus and HOP OFF at your destination for a small fare. Be on a lookout for this buses, you will not miss it for the design will stand out prominently on the road! You can get this bus at Tanjung Bus Terminal in Kuala Terengganu.

Kuala Terengganu Taxi Terminal is just opposite the Town Bus Terminal. Some taxis are for long distance interstate journeys, some for inter-districts and some for short distances. Most of the taxis owners are association members so you will not miss the ticketing kiosk because the terminals are managed by associations. Just get your changes correct... in Malaysian Ringgit! Never board unlicensed taxis. There are many of them lurking around!

What originally a part of daily business activities of the small Chinese communities, the trishaw business was wrapped around Malay predominate communities some 50-60 years ago.   Still part of the daily activities of some Malays, the trishaws of Terengganu leapt to a big change when the Government of Terengganu introduced Human-Powered Electrical Trishaws where battery - operated motor is attached to the bicycle mechanism. Take a sightseeing tour of our Chinatown with our trishaws or park your vehicle at the car park and ride a trishaw to the Central Market... It?s an experience you will never forget.
